KyPolicy Summer Policy Institute will bring together students from across the state to participate in a multi-day exploration of Kentucky’s top policy issues through a combination of seminars, panel discussions and workshops.

Students will stay on campus at Berea College, build their network with Kentucky’s public policy professionals, gain confidence in their own advocacy and gain a general knowledge of:
How the state’s budget and tax system affect Kentucky citizens
How to use data to advocate for policies that build a thriving future
Policy issues hindering and helping Kentuckians today
The legislative process in Kentucky
The Midwest Regional Sustainability Summit brings together 600+ passionate and visionary leaders to share inspiring, forward-thinking, and solution-oriented ideas that propel us toward a healthier, more resilient, sustainable, and equitable future. Join Fortune 500 powerhouses, innovative entrepreneurs, government officials, sustainability directors, and academic, non-profit, and community leaders committed to solving the region’s toughest environmental problems while creating a positive economic impact.
The event will feature a full day of programming (8:00 am to 6:00 pm), with 80+ speakers, an exhibitor expo, an art show, breakfast, lunch, a networking reception, and more!
The Midwest Regional Sustainability Summit is hosted by Green Umbrella. Summit planning partners include the Ohio Environmental Council, City of Cincinnati, Xavier University, University of Cincinnati, University of Dayton, Groundwork Ohio River Valley, and CommEN Strategies.
